Move over Conspiracy Guy: It's Conspiracy Girl's turn

You may notice about me, that i really, really love conspiracy nuts. Not so much conspiracy theorists.. i'm ok with people questioning reality.. i mean people who are nuts, like fucking nuts. My fave is still this guy, but right now, i feel like i've just hit a motherload.

It starts when a mate tweeted a link to this groundbreaking report:

Thats right folks: The visible spectrum is NOT NATURAL. And somebody obviously hasn't seen a certain pink floyd album.

At first it's hard to tell if this is sheer stupidity or lack of education, but as some comments point out, she obviously did not attempt to research it, like, at all.. nor did she examine it very well or she would've seen the chemicals don't work on the other side.

Heres another deeply informative video. So informative in fact, that the maker was obviously worried it wasn't scary enough, so decided to add her own stupid noises and shitty CGI effects.

(video description: "Looks like they are ionizing their plasma energy field")
Ok, from what i remember from A levels and what those diagrams show, to reach the plasma state you've gotta get pretty hot. Hot, like, i dunno, the fucking sun. And the last time i went on a plane, we went through the clouds, and ice formed on the windows. I think that says enough.

You might be getting this feeling by this point that the author is really not aware of basic science, or even, how to read properly. If you watched the last video thinking, 'that was just gibberish punctuated by long words and scientific phrases pasted from wikipedia' then you can eat your heart out on this one. Notice some of the info paragraphs aren't even finished, such is the quality of the copy-pasting. Meanwhile, the filmmakers actual contribution is minimal, both in content and intellect.

To be honest i had a real hard time trying to work out what the fuck the video was meant to be conveying, but with help from the description and the comments, i think the plot is this: She put a container outside to collect rain. She then studied it under a microscope and saw what she thinks is a rotifer. She concluded the rotifer had been IN the rain, and "they" had put it there using aerosols.. to "HELP THEM MODIFY THE WEATHER".

When asked how she knows the organism wasn't from the container, she responds: 'Because it was clean and dry before it was put out to catch the rain'. News Flash, people: There are no germs outside.
Also I feel the need to point out that i had to check wikipedia on the whole rotifer thing.. and after experiencing a little deja vu with the first paragraph, i looked at the picture.. which is presumeably more than she did.

Welp, im sure i've bored you enough, but don't go thinking that's all the videos this lady has done. She has an entire channel of the stuff, and it covers everything from "They wrap the sound around us at night, n pull it away during the day using the TRAINS. " to "SOUND OF HOUSE WAVES AND WAVES OF ENERGY." But seriously, i'd only look if you A) have a lot of time on your hands, and B) are not easily depressed by the stupidity of some humans.

I don't like the news

If you've ever felt frustrated by the news, this is the blog for you.

Firstly, if you dont already know it, i just quickly want to reccommend you Brasseye. It's all the gimmicky, trashy self-hyping news programs that expect to be taken seriously. embedding is disabled, so please click the pic below (open link in new tab so you dont loose this page, you fools!)

I guess it cuts to the core of the news' inappropriateness so well, that some find it shocking and offensive. But the media dont help themselves- after the brasseye special, 'peadogedden' ('the peadophile episode') the daily mail proclaimed it 'the sickest TV show ever', and printed it next to pictures of princesses Beatrice and Eugenie (who were 13 and 11) in their bikinis. The daily star committed virtually the same crime, only their issue included an article on (the then 15) charlotte church's breasts.

The video below, however, really genuinely is shocking. Even when you do watch this objectively, its not hard to see how easily and mindlessly some things are being faked- and then slapped in news and newspapers. enjoy- it's actually pretty interesting.

Mate, if you got shot in the head, you wouldn't be walking..

I dont think this can be limited to just the gaza strip though. think about the kind of stuff you see on the news. Are the things being reported really whats happening on the screen? or do they just roll out cheap stock footage from the general area, which they probably know is bogus, because lets face it- when you've got to report exciting events from all over the world every hour thats just a lot damn easier. The chances of having a cameraman wandering the streets in the middle of an outbreak in any given country at any given time probably aren't ideal from some channels' point of view.

That in itself isnt a crime though, it's just kinda lying slightly, i guess. the disturbing thing is that it proves how anyone can present this 'footage' and give it pretty much any story, to gather support or disgust for pretty much any group of people. with that in mind, who knows what the media can band together and show you on your tvs?

Of course, this is just for people who care. personally i avoid watching the news for this reason. It's gimmicky, probably partially bogus and, dare i say it, actually quite effective. I could easily go down the 'its a conspiracy!' route and turn into mr conspiracy guy over this, but i'd hate myself if i did.

So theres no real moral to this blog. Im just, y'know.. sayin.
